Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Method

The Ultimate Healing System
Depending on the patient, one or more of the following health assessment methods will be used:
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine has its origin in ancient Taoist philosophy which views a person as an energy system in which body and mind are unified, each influencing and balancing the other. Unlike allopathic medicine which attempts to isolate and separate a disease from a person, Chinese medicine emphasizes a holistic approach that treats the whole body.
Acupuncture and Needle-Free Acupuncture
Emerging from over 2300 years of empirical study and observation, acupuncture is one of the earliest practicing systems of medicine, part of the complete and comprehensive system of Chinese Medicine.
From a Western medical standpoint, there are over 2000 conditions that acupuncture can treat.
The style of acupuncture offered at NNM is a unique combination of proven, classical theory with modern research.
Many people shy away from trying acupuncture due to a fear of needles. Not to worry, at NNM we have several options that allow you to receive the benefits of acupuncture WITHOUT needles.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a system of medicine founded upon the law of ‘Similia Similibus Curantur,’ which means ‘Like Cures Like.’ The recognition of this law has existed for hundreds of years, and is currently the basis of Neighborhood Natural Medicine’s effective system of medicine.
Homeopathy uses extremely diluted substances to stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities in a safe, but very powerful manner. It is also acts as our principle method of assessment.
Therapeutic Nutrition
This is the art of using food as medicine. Combining the assessment methods listed above with Therapeutic Nutrition results in an extremely clear and accurate picture of the person’s physical condition.
It includes counseling you on the best way to eat to restore health, recommending specific vitamins and nutritional supplements that have a solid track record of helping people with your problem … as well as how we can help you actualize a vibrant, healthy self.
Clinical Kinesiology
This is also known as “muscle testing” or “applied kinesiology”. In this procedure we will be using a combination of traditional kinesiology along with checking certain viscero-somatic reflex points to see which parts of your body may be under stress, and what the most effective form of treatment would be.
Clinical Kinesiology is founded upon principles of neuroscience and applied using both eastern and western theories.
Cranial Nerve Tests
Your brain has 12 major nerves that serve as the main communication lines between your brain and the rest of the body. Many health problems and pain conditions are related to a problem in the functioning or health of these nerves. In some conditions we will check the functioning of these nerves using traditional, non-invasive, and painless assessment techniques.
We can then figure out whether or not a problem with the major cranial nerves is contributing to your condition.Cranial Nerve Tests are especially important for anyone who is suffering from any type of neurological problem or chronic pain.
